چکیده
Onion thrips, Thrips tabaci (Thysanoptera: Thripidae) is one of the main problems and yields limiting factors in onion fields (Allium cepa L.). In present work, an effort was made to study relative susceptibility different cultivars infestation with evaluation some chemical bio-insecticides against T. effect meteorological on its population density. The results showed that infest all tested more or less, however cultivar Red Giza be most tolerant among other cultivars. 6 susceptible followed by Beheri, 20 finally White Giza. However, there were no significant cultivars. The insecticides can arranged according their efficacyagainst nymphs descending order as follows; spinetoram, pyridalyl, imidacloprid, thiamethoxam, lambda-cyhalothrin, dinotefuran, pyriproxyfen, malathion, azadirachtin Beauvaria bassiana. On hand, these general means reduction percentages adults a pyridalyl, imidacloprid, bassiana azadirachtin. The trends revealed thrips had two generations during growing period. There significantly negative correlation (P˂0.05) between density humidity. also temperature positively affect both seasons2020 2021.

Pyrethroid-resistant onion thrips, Thrips tabaci Lindeman (Thysanoptera: Thripidae), infesting persimmon fruit
A total of 53 strains of onion thrips, Thrips tabaci Lindeman, were established, of which 14 strains were collected from persimmon fruit and 39 strains from a vetch weed, Vicia angustifolia, in commercial persimmon orchards in Wakayama Prefecture. Susceptibility to insecticides was evaluated by the Petri dish-spraying tower method. Pyrethroid-resistant strains and pyrethroid-susceptible strains...
متن کاملConsequences of co-applying insecticides and fungicides for managing Thrips tabaci (Thysanoptera: Thripidae) on onion.
BACKGROUND Insecticides and fungicides are commonly co-applied in a tank mix to protect onions from onion thrips, Thrips tabaci Lindeman, and foliar pathogens. Co-applications reduce production costs, but past research shows that an insecticide's performance can be reduced when co-applied with a fungicide. An evaluation was made of the effects of co-applying spinetoram, abamectin and spirotetra...

J. Econ. Entomol. 80(5): 1051-1056 (1987) ABSTRACT Data collected in 1983 from six commercial onion fields in upstate New York indicate that dispersion characteristics of onion thrips (OT), Thrips tabaci Lindeman, are precisely described by Taylor's power law (S2 = amb), with Ina = 0.517, SIn, = 0.059, b = 1.89, and Sb = 0.028 (n = 47; r2 = 0.99: P :$ 0.0001). Additionally, during the main peri...
متن کاملOnion thrips (Thrips tabaci (Thysanoptera: Thripidae)) in cabbage on Prince Edward Island: observations on planting date and variety choice
Onion thrips (Thrips tabaci Lindeman (Thysanoptera: Thripidae)) can be a pest in organic onion production on Prince Edward Island. This study was to examine the effect of planting time and variety on infestation levels and damage by onion thrips on cabbage (Brassicae oleracea capitala (L.)). A field site was planted with 2 main and 8 lesser varieties of cabbage over 4 planting dates. Some varie...

J. Econ. Addition of the chemical preservativessodium benzoate (0.1%) and potassiummetabisulfite (0.05%) had no effect on plan...
